Shameless plug

Have a paper due Friday so might be a little light on the actual content for a few days, unless someone wants to do it for me... it's on "present rights of future individuals and property instantiation"

With that said, my roommate has a show this Friday at Kelly's Olympian which is downtown Portland.

Misto Cafe 3801 SE Belmont, Portland, OR

What can I say, just down the road from a friends place and WOW.  This little cafe is definitely a hidden gem, while their food is a bit expensive for a cafe type eatery, the food is properly done. The food at Misto begets a hidden aura of a proper chef that could be making menus for some very high dollar establishments.

The Misto Burger has to be one of the best burgers in Portland it's dare I say it better then the Blue Velvet Burger.  Not to mention their fries are so good, extremely thin and small so that they are crunchy all the way though.

Misto may be expensive for a cafe, but the food is definitely cheap when you taste that first bite.

Saturday Night

So after surviving the apocalypse, we decided to celebrate with a few beers at The Lion's Eye.  Not your usual 82nd Meth dive.  They don't have video crack and have old text books in the booths.  Bar staff greet you with an honest attempt to remember your name and include anyone from the area.  A recommended place for all you out in felony flats (SE).
